I have not argued your points any further because I know you what you will do with it (yes I do see what others don't), and for the sake of not wasting the time of the other moderators it's best I don't engage in it any further. Its probably best you apply the same too.

But to be clear, if you wanted positive discussion, you shouldn't just highlight the point/s you disagree with, that is not going to generate positive discussion. You can't say you want positive discussion and then be happy to say you want to point out the negative pieces you don't agree with to not keep the post alive. I can assure that does the exact opposite all over HC and will always continue the negative theme, or worse, derail it completely.. So that theory doesn't make any sense and is a strange concept.

Maybe the ignore function is your best option going forward, as it's quite obvious that anyone (particularly me) with differing views to your own are not very welcome and are attempted to be silenced.
