I'm as big a cynic as the next bloke, but one thing I don't agree with is that Gary's salary is too high. Gary's salary package reduced to $264,985 in 2017 from $294,106 in 2016.

Sure there are micro caps out there that pay less, but there are plenty that pay well and truly higher too. You'd struggle to get any high calibre MD on board for that wage, unless there were some hefty ST incentives involved. Gary can also have some credit for not loading himself and the other directors up with freebie shares and options too - that's quite rare in the junior explorer space. Maybe he should've though, then there might've been more concern for a falling SP lol.

I certainly agree that the lack of holdings by all of our directors, and the lack of previous CR participation doesn't exactly ooze confidence to the market. It's never a good look, and often not a huge price to pay to show the market you believe in where the company is heading. I'm also a believer of never having someone in a position for too long as people get comfortable and complacent over time, it's human nature. Given the holding size of our largest holder, it's likely none of us have the power to change that either, but at the very least I would like to see a new addition to the board to bring some new and fresh enthusiasm/ideas.

Lets see what rabbit can be pulled out with the CR, Gary has managed to get them at a premium before, but I fear we are a little more desperate this time around.
