Shorting by institutions is part of life, especially at Bathurst's still early development stage. I don't like it any more than you - it's parasitic - but there is nothing Bathurst management can do about it.

Imagine Hamish ringing up Bank of America and saying
"Excuse me, but do mind awfully not shorting our stock, its rather inconvenient for us". They'd tell him to eff off. I have a feeling Hamish has other things to do just now.

Give this a few months - as productions gets close - and those horrible investment bankers realise this is really going to happen, they will change their tune.
