They should get some good tonnage at Julia. Mn grades are not high but that is not the be all and end all. Met testwork to demonstrate ability to beneficiate the ore into saleable intermediate/end products will be key and Aurora’s historical testwork was positive in this regard (see one of their historical presentations).
* Important to note: MZM ore after industry standard beneficiation process produces a high silica (impurity) concentrate. Hence MZM are trialling a new beneficiation process to tackle this problem. This is a big issue for them but they have been making good progress with the new CSIRO process.
At the end of the day: size is not everything and even Mn grade alone is not everything.
From here on, good news to follow assuming PM1 replicate/confirm the higher grades that Aurora historically drilled at the other areas. We should know in a few weeks.
