I was under the impression it was Helix that discovered Skaergaard and PGM was a spun off from Helix as I understood it. I could be wrong of course.
Anyway I think the future of Skaergaard could now be dependent on the ongoing geophysical study and whether they find quantities of other metals there, metals that weren't worth anything first time around but now are (vanadium.)
Kaplan and Creasy were never drawn to Platina for Owendale and Scandium. they came for Skaergaard and if they came once they can come again.
I think CN is very focussed on what he was brought here to do, which is get Owendale going and good on him. I just wish he could see that Skaergaard doesn't need to be his project, he simply needs to make a big enough deal out of it that it will pay for his other projects.
It's the biggest un-developed palladium resource in the bloody world for Christ sake! Palladium, you know that metal whose price just overtook that of gold. Not to mention the 5m oz of that cheap sheet metal gold as extra credits.
Cheers,
DMac
