Two consortia have been short listed to build the Esperance Port upgrade with the winning company likely to be decided near the end of the third quarter 2013. We should find out which companies have secured port space around this time which should give a boost to those companies and a kick in the teeth to those who missed out. Mindax is targetting around 2MTpa depending on how much their iron ore resource increases following the current drilling program.
