12000 licenses means 600 v20s or 60 v200s or any other combination that adds up to 12000 licenses (which enables 12000 device connections). Your broker was insinuating that a v200 might be considered one licence. That’s not true based on my discussion. So yes it will matter whether they get v200s or v20s... but only because they are different prices. the more you buy, the cheaper the individual license costs.
