Funny the SPP turning up just after the announcement of a placement. Complain all you like, I will be participating in the SPP, why? because I believe it has come about for a few reasons.
1. give SH's a chance to average down.
2. Secure the financial position of the company
3. Operational flexibility - everything is on their terms
I personally think that this will open up options with farm in negotiations and a cornerstone. There may have been one waiting in the wings, but if the company was to get the whole block, this would change things significantly. If we are free carried with ownership at 37.5% or more, I will be a very happy camper.
The other thing is. Look at the timing of the SPP and the dates involved. Hmmmmm
