Anything is possible.
It is a good asset for both suitors which both would want.
Though I'm on the sidelines with no access to my stock (now EVN's stock) it is a fascinating corporate play to watch with plenty to come.
Or a fizzle out after the offer closes and is not extended... possibly but I'd say unlikely.
