C. Planet Gas have no money, the Silver Star well was pretty much their last roll of the dice.
Take a look at their latest financials. It's a cheap purchase for SXY to have 100% of the acreage back future use.
The only thing left of this Silver Star project is a collapsed horizontal well with a drill bit stuck in it and no way of pulling it back out.
The Silver Star well was a duster the second the bit got stuck and as we have just seen by the reallocation of funding by BPT and SXY, no-one wants to spend money on it.
