I seem to be in the position you were once in - a holder that has done no (well - very little) research. I took a punt originally because I fancied a bet on a company that stood a chance of working its way out of debt by producing gold from tailings. That procedure seems to have worked.
I had not realised there was an obtuse background to ownership and company structure.
Back to the red herring business. My mention of the specific word 'agreement' was a red herring, in the sense that it distracted from a relevant issue -
1. Does Brimstone get revenue from the sale of the tailings?
2. Do they get that revenue even though they have not paid their share of the costs?
Does your research throw any light on those questions - which I don't think are red herrings.
