The CEO seems quite comfortable he can convince the committee of its approvability based on its unique mode of action, safety and efficacy qualities. He thinks the FDA see it his way. But in this climate they need wider support before approving this drug. Hence the committee.

The recent rise may have been in anticipation of news the NDA had already been submitted, then news that it wasn't perhaps forced that position to be unwound.

The price moved form 94c on Monday to 124.5c on Wednesday with about 900k sold. On thursday the price dropped to 105.5c with about 650k shares sold. The selling was constant throughout the day except for the period between 1200 and 1300.

Did everyone who was selling this have lunch at the same time? Or was there only one person buying on the way up and then on the way down? Either way, they have almost sold out of their position: 650k of 900k shares (approximately). Once they have finished the selling should stop.
