Too true, Silverlady.
It could (and should) have been so very, very different.
If only the Board had not been perpetually blinded by misleading halve truths, lies and blatant misinformation, and had the guts to question, challenge and get the real facts, from those who really knew the truth.
Those people, (mostly former employees and past partners who had been employed/engaged because of their vast knowledge and experience) had the knowledge, ability and experience to actually create an effective and commercially attractive and functional technology. Sadly, they were gradually ignored and cast to the scrap heap. Piece by piece, Ramy dismantled and sabotaged any chance of success
Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Unfortunately, the Board (all loyal to Mr Azer) continued to believe the crap fed to them by Mr Azer which amounted to the simple but misguided self-belief that because he had "invented" the technology,- and this is extremely debatable if the truth be known ! - he was the only person capable of commercialising it.
How utterly stupid and naïve.
Cannot help wondering of Mr Azer felt threatened and therefore insecure, by anyone with gained knowledge in banana fibre processing.
Look at what's become of this would-be technology company. No viable technology, no assets, no operation, no customers, no product, no market, no employees with any knowledge or experience, and a board and a couple of contracted part timers with accounting and legal backgrounds.
Unfortunately the Board led by Maestro Ramy pursued a ridiculous course of pumping up fresh air and using the old smoke and mirrors technique to create something out of nothing, to try and get potential technology licensees to part with money. They were never that stupid.
Unfortunately (but not surprising) for the Board and the long suffering shareholders, this technique of attracting buyers by offering cheap shiny trinkets may work in the markets of Cairo, but not in the real world of PPY
It is now blatantly obvious how successful this strategy has turned out to be - NOT. I hope the Board is proud of their achievement. !
