    Wow

A very revealing set of photos- well, at least there IS a building.

What is with all the women standing around in white lab coats and sandals? And the blokes in civvies or overalls.

It appears from scanning the happy snap photos that the only equipment in the building is:
    * a conveyor system to bring banana trunks in (see above the veneering machine)
    * the bashed up beta veneering machine (in the shipping container),
    * a table (the white one) for "trimming" each sheet which appears to have a hydraulic press- presumably to press the moisture out of a sheet of banana ply?
    * a hydraulic baling machine (to be hand filled with banana fluff !!).

At least we can see the beta machine appears capable of producing a sheet of veneer. The modus operandi seems to be sheets of ply rolled out of the front of the veneering machine then carried by two people, squeezed individually in the press(?) and then either:
    * stacked up as a finished veneer sheet on a ply boards; or,
    * run through a shredder (unseen at the back of the beta machine) producing a small stream of banana fluff that is comically shown going into a motorbike trailer: this fluff ends up being hand fed into the baler to produce the bales.

PPY are claimed to have 35 staff and 12 more on the way, to make this work? Perhaps others can see how the beta machine spitting out a banana veneer every couple of minutes, and filling one baling machine with a pitchfork uses more than a couple of people (white lab coats optional). This is all so far short of a major industrial concern. Where are the banks of machines churning through hundreds of banana trunks per day???? Where is the pathway to profitability? Announcements spruik 20,000 dry tonnes of dry material per annum. How will that happen with one hand operated baler?
