Dear Ted, my granny used to say to me that the definition of HOPE "is a young pregnant girl rubbing vanishing cream into her stomach in the hope it (the evidence) will go away". Hope doesn't belong in the vocabulary of seasoned managers and directors sir. What stakeholders expect is a clear, articulate and well executed strategy for success not hope and you have failed to deliver on this.
