Well what about the number of Egyptians that are going to be needed to run around to pick up 340 stems/hour to feed the BVU at your suggested rate of 681 billets per hour (2 per stem)? That's 1 stem harvested every 38 seconds based on your veneering rate of 19 seconds/billet! Forgeting transport from field to BVU you would need about 90 highly motivated and fit men working/day non stop every day to keep up supply.
