Why would Companies want to do business in the Philippines!!!!!
Have a read of ERC case no. 2017-006 DR and you will appreciate why EWC directors are totally annoyed with the so called support they have been receiving in the Philippines. Without the help (at times) from the DOE the Pagbilao Power Plant would still be digging up dirt.
On the 2/01/2018 they had another hearing with ERC re EWPOPI versus the National Grid Corp (NGCP), National Trans mission Corp (TRANSCO) and Grid Management Committee (GMC). They again have another hearing with the ERC this coming Friday at 2.00pm.
Reading above case no. (I can't attach as it's PDF) you will see how the NGCP are totally responsible for the delays in getting the plant up and running, and EWC should continue to challenge the NGCP for their corrupt ways and the reimbursement of associated costs for the delays.
