I think it's well proven (as if we didn't know) that the perpetual negative and snide comments on Forums have absolutely no influence on the broader market, and the market will do what the market will do... even if it makes no sense at all.
My only guess is a CR is on the cards, and the SP is being manipulated up to result in a higher average price.
