re: Ann: RDG: Pacer and Silver Lake Resources... This is not good news with the cash SLR has left in the bank and the gold price being at the level that it is. I think the share price is going to get creamed on Monday. In all the years I've followed SLR, I've never seen them come out with an announcement after the markets closed just before the weekend. Normally that's done when you want to bury bad news. Maybe they were hoping the price of gold would go up following the US jobs report which would help leading into Monday.

I loved SLR, and have undone a lot of the good gains in my other stocks through the losses I have taken on it. I will only get back in once the price normalises following a capital raising (which no doubt they will have to do at a big discount), once the price of gold stabilises and then only after the next quarterly and full year results

I am stunned at what has happened to this stock, because it had such s consistent track record of everything going to plan. After this I will never buy gold miners shares again- prefer the safety of holding physical gold to gain exposure to gold
