It's totally understandable to be 2nd-guessing yourself when price is lower than your entry. What that excerpt didn't say is often those savvy investors have to endure a lengthy period where price is either stagnant or less than their entry - this is where conviction in your investment thesis becomes important - all you can do is re-visit your investment case from time to time to see whether anything material has changed that would invalidate the thesis or not. It's not easy being ahead of the crowd, but that's why the rewards are bigger if/when they come.
