It's all hand in glove between companies & brokers.
Grind the companies down via painfully slow progress and steady cash burn, issue heaps of shares / options at rock-bottom prices to the brokers, off-load to the mug retail punters at whatever they can get above the CR price. Invariably the market becomes awash with shares that it struggles to absorb, and the SP flat-lines.
The organised pumpers band together, get many of the dumped shares, decide when to get the pump going, off-load to even bigger mug retail pumpers in orchestrated dumps.
The organised pumpers work harder for their money because they actually spruik these things, the lazy brokers don't have to do much at all. Just get richer.
Everyone is happy. Management still get paid their salaries, brokers get richer with every raise, organised pumpers crawling over the carcasses get their share of the loot.....the only people unhappy will be 'genuine investors' (schmucks) who believe all the bullsheet & are left as part of a massively diluted ownership structure where the rewards become increasingly elusive. It most cases they will never get within cooee of a dividend while everyone else is living the good life on their money.
