I dont think there is any hat hanging going on. The grade uplift is the reason for the trial mining.

Can you point to where it says there was hand sorting of reef based ore?

That is probably because they are running at break even. Why can not their costs give much of a pointer, in your opinion are they likely higher or lower that RoD?
