I reckon the only short-medium term threat to lithium price is an unforeseen new battery technology that does not use lithium but can compete on price and weight. Given lithium's place as the lightest metal in the periodic table, and the time it takes to commercialise revolutionary new technologies, that is a fairly low risk I think.
So as disappointing as ORE has been in delivering on its promises, it has been lucky to have the battery revolution and consequent price increases fall in its lap. I can't see how there can be any other way than up from the current disappointing state of affairs, and the current share price is probably a bargain for the patient.
I'm happy to be patient for now, and like I said, see what the new guy can deliver in execution and transparency.
