I am not going to repeat the maiden JORC here but there is more copper and zinc in the deposit than cobalt. At the very least if these metals can be recovered then they could be used as credits to reduce the mining cost. Cobalt is not exclusively dependent on the EV revolution as it is also used extensively by the military. On the other hand there is at least 3 times more copper in EVs than ICE vehicles. Who knows it may even be a surge in copper prices which enables this project to be viable.
