qqqq of course I'm fully aware of the risks , ive seen it all 100 times before like you. Its often sickening to watch. But I'm doing my bit to try to mitigate the risks and be a proactive investor. I've been one of the ones lobbying hard for this slow down and to cut and save costs right now during this crap (and unexpected by me and many others) low cobalt price period.
if it was just a case of taking care of a select few BB as you say BB would not have given up his recently increased (and too big in my opinion) salary. The consultants who are pretty useless have been cut off the payroll. Also director Pine -who wants to keep pushing the project forward and spending has been overruled (remember most that money of course flows to Gheko who do the work and are hurting on some of their other mine projects). -hes agreed to give up that cash flow. other costs have been cut.
Most the directors have huge shareholdings so are alligned with us pleb shareholders. Thats not always the case.
If costs are cut as discussed to AUD 250-300,000 a quarter work can still go on to progress and hopefully sell Opuwo and CLA still has cash to operate for 4-5 more years.(and maybe also to buy into a new project at this time) -without significant new dilution.
And lets face it if the cobalt price has not recovered in 4-5 years then were all just plain wrong with our long term investment analysis onCo demmnd supply and therefore will probably loose our money.
but in the meantime I'm not averse to also adding some good opportunistic projects to the company to spread the risk.
So Instead of just negatively winging qqqq what do you suggest as a better solution? full steam ahead and get it done regardless of crap cobalt price? or batten down the hatches and wait?- sell Opuwo cheap now and do something new,? or somethng in between all? mate these calls have to be made each day. sitting grumbling negatively about obvious things we all know doesn't help. If you really feel so bad about dealing in ASX juniors then its simple -don't do it. Because your exactly right in what you say -it usually ends in tears for smaller shareholders 8 times out of 10. ..........but sometimes theres always the big win ......!??
