When I first met my Japanese wife in the early 2000's we went to the Nikka Whiskey distillery in Yochi. I remember looking at a few pallets of Japanese 21 year old single malt for about 20 bucks each thinking that wouldn't be a bad idea to buy and sit on. Bought some shares instead and that was a very bad idea.

So yes picking the asset class is as important as the company.

Cause that would really help determine that CLA, one of the largest known cobolt reserves in the world is now worth less than 15 sydney houses.

Now if anybody does have a spare single malt. I could sure use it right now !
