I'm not sure if I'm missing something here, but I suspect that most of us on this forum already have a parcel of OIL shares and as a consequence will have the opportunity to take up under the rights issue which is not closing until 12th August, 2016. And we can't buy them now as they are delisted and have been so for the past six months. So we can't buy on market now, however we can subscribe to the rights issue - where's the problem?
And could you clarify your source of the final comment which you quote. Who is the independent commentator?
