Cut the cash burn rate.
Just wondering what all these blokes are going to be doing. Don't want to rain on our parade but hate to think here we go again. As soon as we get any money we blow it. All these guys are very highly paid. What will they actually be doing for forty plus hours per week. What will four or five Direvtors sitting around the Board table be talking about for hours on end. They appointed a Financial Director and he immediately hired a Management Accountant would you believe ( previously we ran on one part time accountant satisfactorily ) The accounting work at the moment would take no more than a few hours a week and we have a Financial Direvtor and Management Accountant. Pay a few wages, pay the rent, pay a few suppliers, pay the light bill , what else, not much. I am as hopeful as anyone but hey guys, let's get some runs on the board and some income flowing before we hire anyone else. It seems very like a boys club, they all know each other and pat each other on the back. Again, let's remember al these add on guys do not come cheap, I am just hoping out little Optiscan is not being bled by all these ' spectacularly credentialed ' outsiders. I reckon we have less then a years worth of expenses and unless everything goes perfectly with our income projections it's back to us for more cash and the roller coaster of the cash burn rate starts again. I have a lot of cash in our little baby so I am deadly keen on our future.
