sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me: I'm gonna sell because the sp isn't going up, and hence build on the resistance at the current price level. And I'm gonna buy XYZ because the sp is going up, and hence push it ever higher... Just don't get caught out or in when the momentum shifts :)
