You have to be holding a number of shares by a certain date to become eligable for the SPP. But your hunch is propably right,once that day has come and gone the Sp will in all likelyhood drop. Dont forget though that if they consolidate at pretty much the same time,at say 1:10,you might find it harder to aquire them if you so wish. Sorry I cant be more specific,I havent really read the report in detail.
