[3] I rang Automic and was informed that processing an application to exercise could take up to fifteen (15) working days, which means the result of my own application should show up on CommSec on about the 27th. This means quite a lag between exercising and being able to trade the share.
[4] from the Option Expiry Notice, the deadline for exercising the listed options (AVLO) is 5.00pm (AWST) on the 31st which is WA time (UTC +8.00), and to the best of my knowledge WA does not use daylight saving so this is, I believe, equivalent to 8 pm (Australian Eastern Night-Time Wasting - UTC +11.00); remember Phileas Fogg, and that telecommunications technicians may go on holidays during Christmas/New Year.
[5] I suggest you insist on Automic sending you an email contains the "active ingredients" - that is your HIN, ASX Code AVLO, number of options, Biller Code (235812) and sixteen digit reference code.
