The Scoping Study Report issued by AZS shows a confident path to production. By late 2019/early 2020 the first ore will likely be mined, and within 16 months after that development costs will be recovered and the mine generating an excellent cash flow.
This will put Azure in a sound position to fund other projects and to return funds to shareholders. Likely sale of Promontorio and Sara Alicia will support the low development costs at Oposura
Continued drilling programs will expand the resource at Oposura and increase the mine life.
Meanwhile continued exploration at Alacran by Teck will only be to the benefit of Azure.
Azure has entered a new phase of development in which shareholders will participate.
There are a variety of reasons for the current low share price, but I anticipate that will change, particularly as further announcements are released.
