Look for a 2003 geological study of CBM on central Kalahari Karoo basin. It said then that gas was bubbling at surface from test work done then; Strata-X said it in their recent RNS; now Tlou saying it; no doubt Sekaname will say the same.
What is not in any doubt for the past maybe 20 years is that there is a lot of gas under large parts of Botswana - creating a market there for its use is the continuing problem.
Shell tried, SASOL tried, Saber tried, Exxaro tried, Kubu and a host of other smaller operators have tried. Sekaname and Tlou are trying, with Sekaname trying for a lot longer than Tlou. Does that make Sekaname bad and Tlou good? Or both good, or bad since taking them so long......
