Rossi70, my understanding is that the Eastern Leases have seen no 3D seismic and are only covered by legacy 2D/2.5D.
My thought is that 88e are piggybacking on the great activity by Armstrong/Oil Search/Repsol in the Nanushuk play with the western leases and why not there is plenty money being thrown that way.
Yukon has previous form and is known. A smoky.
The Eastern leases I believe are the ace in Dave's pocket, close to TAPs, with modern extended reach drilling could be drilled from an all season pad. But much needs to be spent to bring them forward. Money we don't have...... yet.
Small fish taste sweet, and all that. One step at a time. Much confidence has been lost by the HRZ disappointment, the company needs a win, also been a tough year for the Partnership.
