Unless you are in Alaska, who knows what the first signs were when they got to that stage. I guess the tweet didnt help and maybe forced an early ann. But if thats what was reported then I believe that maybe thats all the info they had at the time. Not the greatest worded announcement but you can only hope that it was the best way to describe what they were interpreting at the time.
