My thoughts are, treat all of your money as large amounts, you earned it, don't give it away.

The important thing I've learnt over the years and I'm by no means a trader, is research what you're buying, take your time to understand the patterns of the share. There will always be opportunity.

You make your money on the buy not the sell. By that I mean set and forget, don't get caught chasing the market, it will beat you.

Don't believe all you read on HC and other media, if someone says there is a great opportunity, they are already set to sell into your buys.

88e, being in the spec market is predominantly news driven, which ultimately means buy in a trough (generally following negative news) and sell before the postive news comes.

The old saying "buy the rumour sell the news" nearly always rings true.
