I would prefer the below:
1. Trading Halt (ASX and LSE)
2. Inform the market on Friday (bad news).
3. Inform the market on Wednesday (good news).
4. Make any other announcements that are necessary (Capital raise etc)
5. Open trading again.
So take the time to get it right. Keep it in a TH for a week or two or three if necessary.
Ethically I have a problem with the way it was managed. Only a small loss on my part so not too bad but I do prefer a more integral structure.
