I've been thinking about your question, and have been doing some reading, researching and talking to people.
It's not a given that the well has to be stimulated. You need porosity, permeability and pressure to get the product out, and it's possible (yet another P) that given the above, our well could be conventional. This would be quicker and cheaper, but may require stimulation down the track.
Today's announcement was a good one, and reiterated that it's over pressured.
