It is a very strange set of circumstances. I still disagree regarding the momentum kill on the raise, as the alternative would have been to let it run and then deal with the furore after the initial flow rates were revised down. That would have been poor form in my view.
We don't know how urgently AJQ needed funds, but we all suspect (know) that the results aren't as good as everyone originally thought when the SP starting running.
I agree with you that is it very disappointing that flow results weren't known prior to retailers being able to make their decision, but as many have stated they can on market anyway.
The wash up is, that the government to a large extent have paid for this well and that it will come into production. AJQ are also funded for the medium term.
