While at first read I groaned a little at the thought of another issue when we were finally on the way. This is Armour's first ever production well. Most problems are anticipated but not all. Re-reading the announcement it looks like slugging was anticipated through the pipe: "fluid slugging is occurring as expected". What wasn't expected was the decrease in gas levels, however they have worked out how to fix that by re-entering the pipe and making more perforations. I've had a read through a few sites such as
and https://www.gateinc.com/gatekeeper/gat2004-gkp-2013-05 these issues are not insurmountable. Mind you, it's not the greatest announcement in the middle of a CR, but once these issues are dealt with, I'm sure we'll see it as just a hiccup. This well is intended as a blueprint for the next 3 wells between now and June. Get this right and hopefully we will better anticipate issues on the next ones. I intend to participate in the CR so my sentiment remains a buy.
