Disagree , it is standard accounting for open cuts to amortise the strip over the life of mine (LOM) , strip ratio is 14 to 1 in CY2019 with a LOM strip of 5.5 so apart from deferring tax why would you put all the expense of the strip in FY2019 ?
Reminds me of Saracon, mine was running break even at Red October until the last 2 years , then strip ratio dropped off at the bottom of the pit , company announced that at Digger and Dealers in August think it was 2012 and then miraculously (sacrasm ) AISC fell about $300 an oz for the final 2 years of mining and share price went from around 16 cents to 50 cents .
Personally I am getting tired of having to correct poster misinformation based on ignorance .
This is a good announcement providing they are being honest with us , and their forward financial projections are correct .
