They are chasing long, wide, deep but near-surface deposits suitable for bulk mining.
Primary method of processing is likely to be cold weather heap leach which can be done at grades < 1 g/t.
Most of what is mined is essentially crushed and stacked on a pad and leach solution run through as part of gold extraction. Grades can be well under 1 gram per tonne.
Deposit at Oxide is only under 20 to 30m of cover in places but runs for over 400m length of hole. Mineralisation is spread throughout the ore unlike “high grade” underground mining where you chase distinct high grade veins.
I think at Oxide NVA are looking for a deposit over 1km long, perhaps 300m wide and 200m deep.
Think RPM has only had one hole drilled historically.
