To break even on it is a win as it's about opening up opportunities going forward. They're building relationships and reputation in the region. As mandp points out, the gross-split regime isn't cut and dry, there's many variables but it goes someway to explaining as to why they're not generating the kind of profits some were (unrealistically) expecting. You see, they're already on the cusp of hitting positive territory, add in just 1 lookalike asset and they start to generate a tidy little profit.

Just wondering in the end of Tax financial year in Indonesia will BAS be able to claim a Tax loss with the new pump and the upgrade spending's they did to clawback a few millions in tax refunds?....
