It's not confusing at all. DHEM will be done standard after completing a hole and will provide a better snapshot of whats happening under the ground than you'll get from airborn or surface EM.
It's just a data gathering to give the geo team a better idea of whats down there. Considering they only broadly mentioned "iron sulfides" I'd assume there wasn't much there to get anyone excited.
I hate to say it but the DHEM is probably a waste of time, but might as well do it if you've got the hole open I guess.
