I agree with your thoughts.

For what it’s worth, I think there has been a blatant attempt at manipulating the share price lower, in today’s session.

Between 2.55pm and 2.58pm, all bids in the order book got hit down to 59.0c, then a parcel of only 253 shares was immediately sold at 51.0c, i.e. 13.5% lower.

Based on “Business Rule 2.2.4(1)(a) - False or Misleading appearances when dealing as principal”, I believe this represents illegal activity, so I have reported it to the ASX Surveillance team.
