The potential of FPL is good. There are large areas of oil & gas bearing in the yet unexplored deep stratas. FPL will definitely benefit from the gas deal as I've no doubt a profitable agreement will be reached. Now as an investor I place zero confidence in the directors who have reduced the value of the shareholders investment prior to the idiotic 1 for 10 reduction thereby watering down their value by 90%. I believe anyone now investing in FPL faces the same fate. What good an oil discovery of 1000bls/day if your investment is again chopped by 90% (or more) and new money jumps in for what amounts to a 10 to 1 on bet. If you're inclined to disregard this logic just evaluate the original shareholders %age interests in this company compared to the money they've invested.
