Had a long chat with the wife and she's told me to stay in, she said if it goes to sheet even more we make a loss either way.

If I sell tomorrow, it's a guaranteed loss and she said we're not going to be bankrupted if it goes 100% tits up, so take the risk. She didn't even care that we'd paid capital gains last year for nought. I have a good woman here and shouldn't have started to stress, I think she was only annoyed that I was carrying a burden on my own.

She did recall me talking about Paul Basinksi's passing last year and wondered why I didn't decide to bail then. Good question.

Hopefully DW isn't telling porkies about a farm in partner because I was watching that investor presentation from 2017 and we should be doing lateral wells for sure this year according to his timeline. The way I see it if we cant get that happening, we have to either find cash from somewhere (a lot) to do it ourselves (I'm not even sure a small player could get that funding) or flog the acreage off. If DW doesn't consider the latter it should boost the confidence.
