"It is possible that they could have fracked each zone 50/50 with the proppant and still come out with the same result, but prior to drilling they did not know which zone was best. They now know this and this will help with landing a lateral. It's my understanding that the fracs were staying open and for these reasons I think another crack at the HRZ with a horizontal this Alaskan summer will prove successful."

What has always worried me was why with such good information from Icewine#1 did we fail with Icewine# 2. Reading his post makes me feel very confident that the summer drill has a great chance of success The majors will know this information and if they are sufficiently enticed to get in on the deal then everyone will be a winner. To stay or sell is of course a personal decision. All the best.
