re: Ann: Octanex Awarded 4th New Zealand Expl... noted an article in news about OXX waiting for the humpbacks to go past...Seems like they go past WA much earlier than the east coast....and the ES boats would do no good to the whales as they done their work.
Spent time on one of these boats after it hit the Barrier Reef....even loaded to the hilt with gear could not see the reef ahead and ran into it at.90 degrees
Total wreck. One I was on was using heavy explosives and a plate towed behind....interesting to know if still do the same thes days....anyone familiar.
