The bigger picture here for me is why does an extreme right wing gov (Duterte) support extreme left wing policy (DENR)? The only answer I can come up with is that they are nationalising the industry.
They r stripping the assets off the miners to fund their fascist gov. Not at all worried about the environment. If u have doubts, have a thought for the 5,500 shot dead on the street for drugs.
